Well, well, well so the saying goes. . . Thank goodness it is Friday. (That is the Utah way to say it:)) I can only say that when the day starts off at 4 a.m. with a sick child you know you are in for a ride, Friday or not. I don't know how many of you out there in this great universe of the internet well apparently I cannot spell that word properly so forgive me:(. So I digress, any of you out there reading this that are a parent and know that feeling that you get in the pit of your stomach when your child says, my stomach hurts, ugh, suddenly my stomach hurts. I try not to overreact but when I was making dinner and I turned around to give him his plate and he was fast asleep at 7pm well freak I freaked out and knew there was a long night and day a head of me. SOOOOOO yes I am very glad it is the weekend and I do not have to wake to the alarm clock and the rush of rushing out the door. Oh wait, I do, I have the great pleasure of running my daughter to dance EVERY, now wait let me repeat myself EVERY unless any of you missed this, EVERY Saturday at * oh wait that is 8 am. Now unless I don't give my newly soon to be x-husband credit he has done it all of her life until he left. But I have done it all of the afternoons and nights. Oh wait I still digressed:(. :). OK, she is 15 and dance is her life, her world, her joy, her passion, so she sets her own alarm, makes her own breakfast, then comes and wakes me up and says "pretty please mama may I have a ride?" Now what do I say at 7:20 am but, "sure". Now how many of you have ever felt your body being sucked into the mattress like not just figurativley ok I cannot spell that either but I hope you get the idea, but literally sucked into the mattress from whence you have slumbered all night and you are warm and the window is blowing just a slightly cool breeze across your face? Well I have and yet, we do it, we get up, dragging ourselves up because we love our kids and frankly because we chose to have them:). So today I decided to post some of the photos that I have taken of her, some last week and some last year because I must face reality, she does get the majority of my camera time in my family. She dances? Enjoy. J
